“On any given summer day, you can see sailboats cruising in the waters of Kentucky Lake. Many of them call Lighthouse Landing home. This photo was taken near the gangway of their docks, with a deck overlooking the vast lake.
Sitting on the benches at the top of the deck is the perfect viewpoint to watch all kinds of boats, including large barges passing through the lock of Kentucky Dam.
This spot will forever be a special place to my husband and myself.”
This is a really popular spot for photos, and it's just a short ride across the lake from the Sledd Creek area near the Inn. (Or you can go by car but what fun is that?!) Have dinner at the Wake Club while you're there. And catch this photo on display in room 102.
