Live Music, Comedy and More-Every Weekend!

Most days, I figure that EVERYONE knows about the Kentucky Opry. It's been around literally forever, and the Campbells have hosted hundreds of acts on their stage. In 2026, you can catch acts like Lorrie Morgan, Diamond Rio, Confederate Railroad, and Rhett Walker. They also have regular bluegrass and gospel nights - and you can go to church there on Sunday morning. Literally.

Last summer, Brad and I went to see Sammy Kershaw perform there and it was such a cool experience! It really reminds me more of a "songwriter" style show - in between songs, he told stories about his life and his music. The Opry is a smaller venue, so any performance there feels a little more personal. (Think the Ryman, only without the pews.) We also saw Chris Knight there in 2024 - and I just saw that he's back this summer!

If you're headed to the Lakehouse Inn and want to experience the best live music at the lake, or comedy, or even magic - check out the schedule at www.KentuckyOpry.com - but make sure you get there in time to score some merch. See y'all there!
