Live a Little and Eat Someplace New - Part 2

I promised a "part 2," so here it is. We're venturing out to cool new eateries at the lake, remember?

Main Street Pizza and Tap is new to Benton! I ran by there today and grabbed a most excellent sausage and pepperoni pizza. The Inn crew gave it a huge thumbs-up! Didn't have time for a beer or a glass of wine (I was on the clock, y'all) but I'll head back soon and give it a try. I believed I spied with my little eye some rum on that shelf, too.....

In Calvert City, the Inn crew is a REALLY big fan of Los Tres Amigos in Calvert City. What's not to love about chicken, cheese and rice? They've also got beer and margaritas!

Parcell's is in Draffenville, and they've got like EVERYTHING in there. Coffee, doughnuts, cupcakes and cakes, a gift shop and some of the best burgers around. I knocked out some holiday shopping there this year.

Jo Jo's Cafe in Benton is a staple in the area. Did someone say BREAKFAST ALL DAY?! Other long time restaurants in Benton are Hutchen's BBQ - where you can get your classic meat and three - and Deaton's Four Little Pigs BBQ - where you can get all this:

Finally, one of my favorite pastimes is having dinner on the water. (We're lake people.) Ralph's Harborview Bar & Grill at Moors Resort reminds me of all those places you love to eat when you head to the Gulf of Mexico or America or whatever. Really good food, cold beer and water views. They plan fun activities, too, and during peak season they have weekend entertainment.

I love it when guests ask for advice on where to eat.
