Y'all, one of my favorite things about living on Kentucky Lake is that some of the best dinners around here don't require a parking lot at all — you can just pull your boat right up. That's exactly the case at Ralph's Harborview Bar & Grill at Moors Resort & Marina, just down the water from us.

Ralph's has been part of this stretch of the lake since 1951, when founder Ralph Moore built it up from a TVA land auction into what's become one of the most recognizable spots on Kentucky Lake. Locals Josh and Misty Grebner have owned it since October 2021. However you get there — dock your boat at the marina or just drive over — you're in for a good meal with one of the best views around.
You've got your choice of dining outside on the deck with the lake right in front of you, or inside if you'd rather stay out of the sun. Either way, that view doesn't quit.

Now, about that bar — it's shaped like a boat. Officially it's called The Admiral, which was the nickname for the resort’s previous owner, Mark Wood, and it's genuinely one of the more fun places to grab a cold beer on the lake. Order something cold, find a seat, and just watch the boats come and go.

On weekends, Ralph's brings in live music, so if you time your visit right, you get dinner, a lake view, and great tunes all in the same stop.
Here's something worth knowing if you're staying with us — Moors Resort also rents boats and jet skis, so if you didn't bring your own and you want to get out on the water, that's an easy option right there at the marina. They've got a marina store for anything you forgot, plus fuel docks, so you can gas up before you head back out.

Whether you're pulling up by water or just driving over for dinner, Ralph's is an easy one to add to your Kentucky Lake list.
See y'all at the lake!
