Birds, Bees and Blooms

“Along the eastern shoreline of Hematite Lake at Land Between the Lakes, redbud trees line the path leading into the forest. In Spring, after crossing the spillway stepping stones, you're greeted by a long row of these beautiful trees. Overlooking the whole lake, a strong breeze is almost always blowing thanks to the open waters. Birds, butterflies and bees of all kinds are attracted to these colorful blooms, making this the perfect spot to see them.”
