It’s been four years since we took this renovation project on – so I honestly can’t remember how I found sweet Linda Harper, but I think I was cruising Facebook and saw the drawings that she does for a realtor in Paducah when a family purchases a home.
We were tearing so much of the old motel out and I wondered if any of the previous owners were feeling sad about the changes. (I’d be sad if someone totally overhauled a place I loved!) I reached out to Ms. Linda and sent her some photos and postcards of the Bel Air Motel back in the 1960’s and she created the perfect depiction of the old motel! I loved it so much that I asked her to do a drawing of the remodeled entrance to use on some t-shirts and sweatshirts. Stop by and pick up some Lakehouse Inn merch on your next trip to Kentucky Lake!
