It’s been over a year since we took this renovation project on – so I honestly can’t remember how I found sweet Linda Harper, but I think I was cruising Facebook and saw the drawings that she does for a realtor in Paducah when a family purchases a home. 

We were tearing so much of the old motel out and I wondered if any of the previous owners were feeling sad about the changes. (I’d be sad if someone totally overhauled a place I loved!) I reached out to Ms. Linda and sent her some photos and postcards of the Bel Air back in the 1960’s and she created the perfect depiction of the old motel! I loved it so much that I asked her to do a drawing of the newly remodeled lobby area to use on this year’s t-shirts.
