“In the area below Kentucky Dam, a highway bridge and a parallel railway bridge were built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 2009 to move traffic off the Dam in preparation for a new lock that was built. At that time, it was a $200 million dollar project. I love this shot, and the area is a great place to watch barge traffic using the dam locks.”
